With the holiday inching closer, we’re excited to partner with Nozomi Project once again to host a worldwide giveaway. Enter to win their beautiful Christmas ornaments handmade with love.
We are kicking off this year’s holiday giveaway with our friends over at Nozomi Project to give away their stunning, one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments to 3 lucky Just One Cookbook readers!
Crafted from beautiful pieces of broken pottery, each ornament is framed in a beautiful silver-plated bezel, hung with a sterling silver 9mm jump ring and elegant white velvet ribbon. They make a bright and meaningful addition to your Christmas tree or holiday home decor. You can even turn the ornaments into necklaces.
The giveaway is open to everyone worldwide, so don’t forget to enter for your chance to win!
Learn more about Nozomi Project – Beauty in Brokenness
The Nozomi Project is a social enterprise in Ishinomaki, Japan — one of the hardest hit areas during 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami.
The women in Ishinomaki needed a place to gather and find “Nozomi” (a Japanese word for hope) as most of them lost their homes or a loved one, or both. The founder of the Nozomi Project came to Ishinomaki to help with disaster relief. She found many pieces of broken pottery and thought she could turn these shards of pottery into high-quality jewelry products. And that’s how the Nozomi Project was founded.
The ladies at the Nozomi Project make beautiful jewelry with broken pieces of pottery left by the horrible disaster, and the Nozomi Project brings sustainable income, community, dignity, strength, and hope for these women.
