What I Love About Hario Donabe Ceramic Cooking Pot
Over the years, I’ve collected various donabe and electric hot pot skillets which I use for different occasions, but I really enjoy the Hario Donabe Ceramic Cooking Pot with Glass Lid ever since I was introduced to it. It is absolutely the perfect cookware when I make hot pot dishes for my family.
Here are a few reasons why I love this cooking pot so much:
- The clear, heatproof glass lid makes it so easy to see the ingredients inside. We can see if the broth is simmering or whether the ingredients are being cooked properly.
- The earthenware pot is thick and very sturdy. The rounded corners make it less likely to get chipped while handling. It also comes with handles, which makes it easy to lift and move from the stovetop to the dining table.
- The size of the pot is perfect for 4 servings.
- It’s highly versatile. Besides hot pot dishes, you can also use it to cook rice and healthy veggie dishes.
- Last but not least, it’s such a beautiful design! Not too modern, not too traditional, just the right balance for my liking!
