Ume Miso Dressing
With a hint of sweet and tangy Japanese plum flavor, this Ume Miso dressing is the best dressing you need for all your summer salads! You'll need to make a homemade miso blend in advance, and the rest is really simple.
(total 2 oz, 60 ml)
homemade ume miso
neutral-flavored oil (vegetable, rice bran, canola, etc)
toasted white sesame seeds
Gather all the ingredients.
In a jar (or a small bowl), combine
homemade ume miso,
rice vinegar, and
white sesame seeds.
Shake the jar well (or whisk well) and drizzle over the salad you prepare. Here I have iceberg lettuce, julienned carrot, cucumber, and tomato wedges.
You can keep the dressing in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
