In a bowl, put self raising flour, sugar, vegan butter, and matcha (powdered green tea).
Crumb together the dry ingredients with the butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Now add 1 tsp at a time applesauce to glue the dough together.
The dough should resemble clay.
Take small pieces of dough, shape them into balls and place on baking sheets.
Put the baking sheets into the fridge for about 1 hour (or in the freezer for 30 minutes or more). Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 375ºF (190ºC). Bake the cookies for 15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
