Momos in West London. Been in business for years although moved site a couple of times. The best Japanese cuisine I have had outside of Japan. My favourite dishes there: nasu dengaku and salted mackerel with yasai itame.

One of the best sushi/ Japanese cuisine restaurants in Maryland is located on the Delmarva Peninsula. It’s known as Sushi De Kanpai and owned and operated by Kumi Suzuki whose husband Ken owns Suzuki Farm and distributes locally grown Japanese vegetables to grocers and restaurants up and down the east coast including her restaurant obviously. She has also applied her own twist on some more American northeast favorites such as her seafood chowder which evolved from her clam chowder. Located in Salisbury, Maryland if you’re ever on the eastern shore you should definitely try them out. I personally think it’s better than Yellowtail in Las Vegas and definitely better priced!

-Hibiky-han in Florence;
-Kabuto Ramen in Pisa.
Both these places have wonderful dishes and you can feel there very strong the feeling of japanese culture of food.
