Today I’m partnering with Tuttle Publishing to give away one (1) copy of A Geek In Japan by Hector Garcia! This giveaway contest is open to everyone worldwide.
For every fan of manga, anime, J-pop, or Zen, A Geek in Japan is a hip, smart and concise guide to the land that is their source.
Comprehensive and well informed, it covers a wide array of topics in short articles accompanied by sidebars and numerous photographs, providing a lively digest of the society and culture of Japan. Designed to appeal to the generations of Westerners who grew up on Pokemon, manga and video games, A Geek in Japan reinvents the culture guide for readers in the Internet age.
Tuttle Publishing has amazing collection of books, especially topics extending in Asian and Japanese cultures. You can start checking out their bestsellers if you are looking for new books to read. I will be giving away more books in the future with Tuttle Publishing, so stay tuned!

I have met several of my daughter’s friends from Japan and they are so courteous and polite. My daughter goes to school at Michigan State University in Michigan.
Really enjoy books about the foods of Japan, especially wagashi, green tea, tsukemono, shojin ryori and the sight seeing. Shopping is terrific and enjoy interacting with the locals and visiting Kyoto and the countryside.
