The most difficult part of making a bento box is not having the bento box and matching the hot and cold items that can be heated separately.

Making the time to do it
Hmm, the difficult part of making Japanese bento is making all the different dishes in the morning.
I live in a college dorm and it is difficult to prepare food there lol

What I find difficult about making a bento is that I don’t want a bland one with only two dishes. I want variety which is often time consuming. But you’ve given me some great ideas, thank you!
