What makes a Japanese meal tastes even better? When you enjoy it with a pair of nice Japanese chopsticks of course! 😉
I’m giving away TWO (2) sets of beautiful and elegant Japanese chopsticks (His & Hers in a box) which I bought from a chopstick store in Asakusa, Tokyo (read my travel post). What they look like? Well, they’ll be a surprise as the store has nicely packed and wrapped the pairs of chopsticks in a box before I was able to take a picture… Hope the winners will enjoy these beautiful chopsticks!
To enter for your chance to win a set of chopsticks (His and Hers), leave a comment on this post that answers the following question:
If you have been to Japan, which city did you enjoy the most? If you haven’t been to Japan, where do you want to visit first?

I have never been to Japan. I would love to go to Okinawa or Tokyo.
I have subscribed to you on youtube!
My favourite city is Tokyo! Hokkaido is the next Japanese city that I would love to visit 🙂
I would really like to visit anywhere in Japan, however, I very much want to blaze the trails of the serene Aokigahara Forest. The countrysides are really my dreams to travel to but the cities offer great allure in the sense of wonderment and the power of technology and what we can apply it to.
My favorite city in Japan… that’s tough. I really enjoy the food in Osaka, but Iya Valley (Oboke and Koboke Gorge in Shikoku) was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too.
i made a japanese friend through an iphone app 2 years ago. she lives in Otaru, Hokkaido.
last month, i finally flew over and met up with her and her 10 year old daughter!
we visited Furano and Asahikawa together, it was really fun! and really, the Kitakaro snacks, Asahikawa ramen and Yuubari melons she recommended were fantastic, i think i put on weight. T_T
Mt. Tenguyama is such a beautiful quiet spot. everyone must visit it at least once, we were lucky and saw double rainbow when we went up there.
next week, Noriko and daughter will be travelling to Singapore, now it’s my turn to play host, and we have got a packed itinerary.
i can’t wait! ^^
I love Tokyo. I recently visited this city and loved everything about it. The people, the food, and the nightlife.

Osaka, for beautiful scenery & culture, delicious fresh foods & friendly locals.
Would love to visit Japan! As for which city, I’m not sure just want to see the cherry blossoms in bloom, and enjoy the culture while I’m there.
Followed in Pinterest. Great recipes. I already purchased “Just One Cookbook” Helped a lot for a Japanese dinner last Sunday night. Thank you.
Subscribed on You Tube. Love your videos! Pictures worth a thousand words.
Already “liked” on FB. Perfect.
Japan is definitely on my top 5 list of countries to visit. Just last Sunday I and 2 of my friends hosted and cooked for a 5-course, sit-down Japanese dinner using many of the lovely lacquer ware pieces I inherited and also collected for many years, along with my collection of vintage chopstick holders. I’m sure I must have been Japanese in a past life. LOL
So definitely Kyoto and Hokkaido. I would also like to visit the site of the recent tsunami disaster and offer my prayers for healing of those who lost their homes and livelihood and for healing of the land.
Domo arigato!
