Hello, Saw you doing the zest for the Yuzu sorbet and that you where using the rasp to take of the zest.I would think that most of would scrape the yuzu, orange or lemon along the rasp.I must try this as it could help in eliminating the amount of skinned knuckles ! Thank you for adding the metric amounts in your recipes. As much as we are metric in Canada most recipes are still in imperial measurements and I find metric to be more accurate and easier to work with. And finally don’t sweat being overwhelmed with everything as we have all been there and it all works out !
Thank You and Holiday Greetings !

I shared your post about baked Tonkatsu. I can’t figure out how to link to it directly, but it’s visible to the public on my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Saixl
I tried it a few weeks ago, and it turned out great. Thanks to your wonderful step by step video! I also made Chashu following your recipe and it was delicious.

It’s *very* orthodox, I know — but my all time favourite bento is chirashi-zushi, with fish (of course!), crunchy renkon, seasonal vegetables – and *lots* of ginger… Fresh and perfect!
I would like one just like my host mother used to make for me during my homestay in Japan. It had rice with furikake, little flower-shaped carrot pieces, fried egg rolls, tiny little sausages and some other veggies on the side. I’d put it in my little black and red bento box with rabbits on it (Bought in the year of rabbit.)
Unfortunately I can’t make good egg rolls. 🙁
