This giveaway is exclusive to Just One Cookbook Email Newsletter Subscribers!
I’m giving away 2 (two) $50 Amazon Gift Cards to my email newsletter subscribers.
Or you can choose another option, Nami’s personal shopping assistance! Last month I received positive feedback on this option, so let’s continue having this option again.
I often hear from readers that they have a hard time finding certain Japanese ingredients in their country (that I use in my recipes). E.g. dashi packets, matcha (green tea) powder, otoshibuta (drop lid), etc etc…
So if you have specific Japanese products that you can’t find in your country and would prefer them over the Amazon gift card, I’d be happy to buy and ship them to you instead. However, please keep in mind that the cost of the product and shipping fee has to be under $50.
I cannot guarantee if I can find what you need, but I’ll definitely do my best. Please note, items I cannot ship include perishable food or heavy kitchen gadget like takoyaki grill. We can discuss more details if you find out you’re one of the winners. 🙂
Important Rule:
- You can enter ONLY one comment per subscriber.
- Your email entry has to match with your email address in my {Free} Email Newsletter Subscription list.
- In the comment box below, write any feedback you may have for me, any recipe request, or just say hello.
Two (2) winners will be selected via Random.org and announced on Sunday, March 1, 2015. This giveaway closes on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 12 p.m. PST. The winners will be contacted via email, so please include a valid email address in the email address entry box.
Full Disclosure: This giveaway is sponsored by yours truly.

I do love an international contest, Nami. Thanks for being so generous xx
I really enjoy your newsletter and was wondering if you could give a recipe for a fish I had when I lived in Japan? I don’t know what it was called but the skin was so crispy and it was fairly salty or perhaps a recipe for meat filled steamed buns. Yum!
Happy New Year.
thank you for your website.
Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping to win! Would love to receive Joshinko to make Mitarashi Dango …. Have looked online on US websites (Japanese Grocers) but haven’t been able to find any.

Just purchased Just One Cookbook after watching Youtube demo. So glad to have a “personal” teacher.
Thanks for the recipes and happy New Year! 🙂
Thank you soo much for the taiyaki recipe. It was easy to follow and very mess free..as much as I can say …! I’m still trying to complete the fillings. The custard actually didn’t work…it turned into ice cream, no really! The sign of the ram? I’ve read up on the charts..they’re hard to form…but found that its all interconnected with the seasons and elements. Any who congrats to the new year! I hope it brings surprises and new recipes..? Even if I’m late to enter…thank you for the recipe for ramen egg and okonomiyaki! They haven’t all been made , but it’ll take lots of practice! Thank you very much!
Hi
How neat, thanks for offering this to your readers! I LOVE your blog 🙂
I love cooking the recipes that you send through my email, they are delicious. Yes it is sometimes very hard to find some Japanese ingredients and as for using the powdered dashi it would be very helpful if you could give us the correct measurement required for a recipe that needed it. My kids love sushi. Is there an easy way to make it and the filling too. Thanks Nami
After living in Japan for 20 yrs, I’ve really missed the ease of eating out at local restaurants. Now I have to learn to cook Japanese dishes at home or my boys complain. Thanks for the easy and delicious recipes.
great recipes!
