I love Japanese food! Yet, over the years, I’ve never had to book to follow to learn how to do it myself. Japanese food is sulebtle in flavor and is not overloaded with sharp flavors as is true in other cuisines. I love Japanese seafood especially, and, of course, the amazing vegetables. Can you tell that I’d love to have this cookbook?! 🙂
I love the sweet/salty flavors plus the herb use of ginger. I crave Asian foods all the time. I also love the way one can use small amounts of meat with large amounts of vegetables, which makes for healthy eating. It’s just plain yummy!
I liked JOC of Facebook. Warm regards from Mexico

I love to cook Japanese food because it’s so different to English food. The ingredients can be really simple, but it all seems to be about balance and detail, which appeals to me.
By the way, I already ‘like’ Tuttle and Just One Cookbook on Facebook.
Thanks! (*^_^)v
I like the flavors and the presentation of the food. In Hawaii, we have a lot of Asian food
restaurants and Okazu-ya delicatessens,
which has an enormous variety to select &
eat to your heart content! Most restaurants or fast foods serves to elicit the ‘local’ palate, thus, the local flavors does prevail along with the traditional japanese flavors. Oishi/Ono!!!!
Wonderfully warm and “oishi” site!
Thank you for sharing your great recipes. You have truly inspired me in so many ways about Japanese cooking.

Just liked Tuttle Publishing on Facebook!
What I like most about japanese food is the umami taste and the emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients! 🙂
