When I visited Arima Onsen (有馬温泉), I purchased this Tansan Senbei (炭酸せんべい) from Yunohanado-Honpo (湯の花堂本舗). Tansan Sebei are soda crackers and this package has 3 flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) inside.
I wanted to host a giveaway at the same time when I share my travel post about Arima Onsen, but the expiration date for this snack is August 14…, so I decided to do the giveaway first!

Congratulations Meg (#122)! I’ll email you shortly!
Something mostly exclusive to Japan like candy or a special chef’s knife ;D
What you are interested in getting from Japan? Can I just say everything? I think what I want to do the most is to try sushi from Japan to see the difference from american sushi. I know that is hard to get if you don’t visit though.
My girls and I LOVE Hello Kitty! Love anything of kitty chan~
Hello – I love reading your newsletters – they are really inspiring!
I’m interested in the senbei! yummy.
Hi Nami,
I’m enjoying reading your posts from Japan! I’m interested in getting Curry flavored Karu cheese puffs.
enjoy your vacation!
My own attempt at making senbei wasn’t a total disaster, but I do prefer having them made for me. LOL! As for what I’d like for the next giveaway, with the Bon festival coming up, I’d love to see something related to that. Festival food. I love making taiyaki, although I really need a new pan. Unfortunately, we’ll be missing the Bon festival at the Japanese market by us since we’ll be at an anime convention in Baltimore at that time.
Would love to receive green tea, thank you.
