When I visited Arima Onsen (有馬温泉), I purchased this Tansan Senbei (炭酸せんべい) from Yunohanado-Honpo (湯の花堂本舗). Tansan Sebei are soda crackers and this package has 3 flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) inside.
I wanted to host a giveaway at the same time when I share my travel post about Arima Onsen, but the expiration date for this snack is August 14…, so I decided to do the giveaway first!

Congratulations Meg (#122)! I’ll email you shortly!
Mochi
Just One Cookbook is the best source for your Japanese cooking. Excellent resource. Many thanks.
I would be interested in Ise Udon noodles.
I have a sweet tooth and a huge weakness for cookies, so I would love to get some cookies for the August giveaway. 😀
I would love a matcha flavoured mochi or kit-kat or just some kind of sweets ^^
Some beautiful chopstick rests. The rests I can get here are rather plain and boring. Thank you for all your great recipes and for making this giveaway worldwide.
Next give away: umeboshi from Japan
Senbei is my favourite snack. It’s so hard to find yummy senbei outside of Japan. It’s usually the first thing I crave whenever I get a chance to visit Japan which is not very often.
I love snack!!
I was curious to see what tansan senbei looked like, and I was expecting the usual senbei crackers… Surprising how they don’t look at all to it XD
For the August giveaway, probably any thing green tea flavored, I guess.
My son said he bought an instant so I told him to check your website for recipes – he’s already been using them!
There are so many things I would like to get from Japan that it is hard to choose only one.
I think my number one would have to be a nice large ramen bowl. Number two would be a matcha bowl, I still regret not getting any of those two things the last time I was in Japan.
For a smaller giveaway I would also love to get some kind of ingredient which I can’t easily find in my country like sakura flowers, tuna flakes, miso paste or nice japanese green tea.
This blog is a lifesaver! Especially for a Taiwanese student craving Japanese food in Germany =)
For the August giveaway a Suribachi & Surikogi set would be lovely….
Japanese cookware!
I would be so excited if you gave out stationary items or even omamori! Thanks so much for everything that you offer you kind soul.
Tea tea and more tea. I’d also like a pair of really unique chopsticks and a shogi set/game
