Today I’m partnering with Tuttle Publishing to give away two (2) copies of Tokyo on Foot by Florent Chavouet! This giveaway contest is open to everyone worldwide.
This book is an illustrated tour of Tokyo and it won the Ptolemy Prize at the 2009 International Festival of Geography. This whole book is filled with fun illustration and no text! It’s was SO entertaining for me to flip through pages and enjoy the sights of Tokyo. Here are some of the illustrations inside the book so you can see what the rest of pages are like!

When I think of Tokyo, I imagine crowded pedestrian lanes with colorful buildings that have a lots of neon signs and people wearing trendy clothes.

What comes to mind when I hear ‘Tokyo’…Shopping! Lots of attractive shops in Eki-biru found at almost all large train-stations. Once a year, if I get to go back to Japan, hence Tokyo, I would get my annual supplies of everything; ranging from clothes to food.
Tokyo = High Tech
