What makes a Japanese meal tastes even better? When you enjoy it with a pair of nice Japanese chopsticks of course! 😉
I’m giving away TWO (2) sets of beautiful and elegant Japanese chopsticks (His & Hers in a box) which I bought from a chopstick store in Asakusa, Tokyo (read my travel post). What they look like? Well, they’ll be a surprise as the store has nicely packed and wrapped the pairs of chopsticks in a box before I was able to take a picture… Hope the winners will enjoy these beautiful chopsticks!
To enter for your chance to win a set of chopsticks (His and Hers), leave a comment on this post that answers the following question:
If you have been to Japan, which city did you enjoy the most? If you haven’t been to Japan, where do you want to visit first?

I would love to visit Okinawa!
I visited Japan for the first time this past winter with my husband. We stayed in Tokyo, and traveled down the coast to Kyoto for New Year’s Eve, then to Osaka and Hiroshima. Tokyo was definitely my favorite city! I loved the life of it, and that rather than having one main downtown area, like many European cities, it instead had several neighborhoods or districts with their own image and downtown area. We stayed in Shinjuku during our visit, and I really enjoyed that area. Of course, the food was awesome. 🙂
I blog about my travels and about dining in my current city of Stuttgart, Germany in my spare time. Here’s a link to the series of posts that I wrote about our trip to Japan: http://www.travelinghopefully.co/blog/2014/6/28/recap-unforgetable-japan-trip-part-1
Thanks for the chance to win the chopsticks!

I think I liked Kyoto the best when I visited last summer! But it’s so difficult to choose since I loved everywhere I went in Japan!
Hello Nami!
First of all I would really like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the wonderful recipes and stories that you share with us. I enjoy reading each and every single one of them.
I have never been to Japan before because I am still a student and thus I have financial restrictions. However, I will certainly visit one day as both me and my fiance are sooo in love with the country, people, and the culture! I am currently also learning Nihongo in preparation for my visit 🙂
If I ever want to visit a city in Japan, I think that I would start off with a tour around Hokkaido. Both me and my fiance love the country-side, and after reading many many reviews from previous visitors, we learned that it is definitely worth the visit. It will not be my last trip to Japan though; that is for sure 😉
