I just love the flavours! The lightness, the umami, crispy panko, the sweetness in teriyaki, the freshness in sushi and sashimi. How can there be one thing to love most?
Japanese cuisine has a special place in my heart. Having the opportunity to stay in Japan for 1 year made me fall in love with Japanese cuisine, especially sushi & sashimi! My favorite Japanese food includes the combination of fresh seafood with vinegared rice, grilled mackerel seasoned with salt and also Unagi.
In addition, I also feel that because Japanese takes a lot of pride the food they prepare, everything served is of highest quality in terms of presentation and taste and I have full respect for that.
It will be great to win this cook book so that I can recreate my favorite Japanese dishes at the comfort of home for my beloved family and friends.
Thank you! 🙂

Japanese food reminds me of my childhood in my home away from home country Japan, it always smells like home! Spent my teens in Japan as an expat kid and it has had a big impact on my life to date.
