I would love to see some recipes for wagashi! It is so hard to get authentic recipes for wagashi that is written in English. Even if it is not a recipe, any insight or information on the techniques will be much appreciated.
I follow you on Facebook!
Nothing in particular. I like how straightforward instructions are.
Yesterday I baked The mascha madelaines, I used the one I usually buy at the specialized tea store. I am planning to go to the Japanese market on Saturday and buy more mascha so I will be able to comment to you if the taste changes. Thank you for your receipes and the way you explain how to make them .

I guess maybe one thing with Just One Cookbook, is have how to make like some of the festival foods, but also maybe like Yakisoba, and what noodles can be substituted if someone doesn’t have a place where they can get the Yakisoba noodles, what would be the next best alternative for the same great taste and flavor.
Aaaand finally, followed you on instagram. 😀
It would be cool to find a way to keep crispy foods fresh for bentos if possible, Bento soup would be cool as well.
Thanks!
This is just my opinion and I know it is probably something you can’t avoid but the ads on the blog is too much and makes it difficult to read your content.
And liked the FB page. 🙂
Ticket 4:
You have got me as a follower on Instagram now.
I’ve followed your YouTube channel. 🙂
You’ve got a great blog and YouTube channel, so I don’t think it *needs* anything, really. But if you were looking for other ways to draw in interest, I know that Japan has a lot of regional pride, which is fairly different from the US. Maybe when introducing a new recipe a little bit about the culture of the area it comes from would be interesting to include.
