After working hard for the past several months, I’m extremely happy to announce that my first eBook, Just One Cookbook – Essential Japanese Recipes is here!
After all, Just One Cookbook is no longer one cookbook! 🙂
During the past 3 years of blogging, I’ve received many interests and inquiries for my cookbook from JOC readers. My reply has always been, “No, I do not have published cookbooks, just the blog to keep all the recipes I love.”
However, with the increasing requests for a cookbook, you’ve convinced me! I realized many of my readers are interested in cooking Japanese food, but when you come to my site it’s not very clear where to start.
So I’ve selected 33 easy and simple recipes that my family, JOC readers, and I love most from Just One Cookbook.
Just One Cookbook Essential Japanese Recipes (e-Book)
This cookbook has over 90 pages of recipes and instructions for appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, rice & noodles, and dessert, which include 12 pages of Japanese cooking basics and pantry items.
Here are a few snapshots from the book:

Hi I tried to purchase your cookbook Via paypal but something seemed to mess up. If it went through can you send the cookbook to summer1520@gmail.com instead of summer1520@cox.net. If it did not go through let me know and i will try again.
Thanks,
Susan
Hi Susan! Sending now. 🙂
Hi Nami
This is Natalie, I live in Australia. I really like your Japanese essential cook book. But I still live in olden days, I don’t really like the computer stuff. Is there any chance to buy the hard copy of the cook book ?
Thanks for your attention
Regards,
Natalie
Hi Natalie! Thank you so much for your interest in my cookbook. 🙂 We don’t have a physical cookbook, and maybe that’s something we want to do in the future. Some people print out by a page, and some people told me they made into colored book out of ebook (amazing!).
Nami san, firstly congrats to your first new cookbook! Beyond that, your willing heart to give those who are in need by donating partially or fully the proceeds. I’ve just purchased a copy of your cookbook and will do so again in the near future to give to friends who love Jap food! Bless you, Nami san, for your heart.
Hi Francis! Thank you so much for your generosity. We truly appreciate it! Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Don’t like e-books,why can’t I just buy a regular cookbook!
Hi Christopher! Unfortunately, I don’t have a published hard copy cookbook. Maybe one day in the future. Thank you for your interest!
Is it possible for me to purchase this book as a gift for a friend. If so how do I go about doing it.?
Hi Pamela! When you purchase, please email us at: hello @ justonecookbook.com and we’ll send a copy to your friend. 🙂 Thank you so much for your interest!
hi. i paid for the e-cookbook but never received any confirmaton or reference email on how to download it.
Hi Melissa! It could be in the spam folder. I’ll check now and send the download link again. I apologize for the inconvenience. I’ll get back to you soon!
I would like to purchase your e-cookbook as part of a wedding gift. NOT clear IF I can do this and HOW??
Hi Frances! Thank you for your interest in purchasing my eBook.
You can select the method of payment here: https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=1306063&cl=263407&ejc=2
You can either use your credit card or paypal to send the payment. Then you will automatically receive a link to download a file. We can help you how to navigate once you get the link. You can download and read the ebook on your tablet (like iPad) or a smartphone or your computer. Please feel free to email me if you need any help or questions. 🙂
Nami,
I like to purchase a hard copy of the cookbook instead of the ebook. How do I do it? My grandsons love Japanese food!
Judy
Hi Judy! Thank you so much for your interest in my cookbook. Unfortunately, we do not have a hard copy… Some readers told me they printed my ebook and made a book out of it. Someday… maybe when it’s the right time, I may write a cookbook… we’ll see!
Hi Nami, I love your recipes and your website in general, all the great posts you have put up. I never was that good at Japanese cooking until you came along. I have a question for you. Can I make Ponzu sauce by just adding Yuzu juice to a good grade of soy sauce? The commercial brands of Ponzu sauce are so expensive. Guy
Hi Guy! For a quick recipe, sure you can, but if you compare with good ponzu, it lacks the depth. I have ponzu recipe that I really really love. I hope you give it a try!

And I’m sorry I hit enter too quickly. Thank you so much for trying my recipes and for your kind words about my blog. So happy you enjoy my blog! xoxo
Hi! I was Wondering If in the near future you would Publish your Cookbook in paperbacks so that anytime i/we can make your recipes without using the internet Or no need to print. 😊 I like your recipes would love to make them😊 my son loves to eat and i would like to learn and a cookbook collector too. We love japanese foods😊. Thank You.
Hi Marland! Thank you so much for your interest in my cookbook. Maybe when the kids are in college. 🙂 We’re really busy running this website and youtube channel and don’t want to neglect them at this time. I understand and I’ve received so many requests too. So maybe one day!!
I would like a hard copy of your cookbooks not on the computer is that possible?
Hi Maria! Thank you for your interest in a hard copy of my eBook. Unfortunately, I’m not selling a hard copy at this time. A lot of my readers told me they printed out this ebook in color and keep them as a hard copy. Maybe when my kids are in college, I will think about a cookbook. 🙂
i like to eat japanese food i like to cook also.
Hi Irene! I’m happy to hear that. Happy cooking! 🙂
i love your recipes…but hate ebooks..might you consider a small run of a hard copy book…will buy asap!
Thank you Peg! One day… 🙂
Nami; just wondering if you also sell hard copies of “Just one Cookbook
You may have a link and I just missed finding it. If you have printed volumes one would be a welcome addition to my cooking Library………… Thank You; Mike
Hi Mike! Thank you so much for your interest! I’m sorry but I do not have a hard copy of Just One Cookbook… Maybe one day when it’s the right timing and good opportunities come, I’ll work on a hard copy of my cookbook. 🙂
Do you have hard copy of your cookbook rather than e-recipes for purchase.
Hi Adeline! I only sell e-Book. Hard book… maybe one day. 🙂
Thanks. I look forward to it.
