I’m partnering with Nihon Ichiban to give away 3 sets of the following items:
1 pack of bamboo barks1 pack of bamboo leavesWorldwide free shipping by registered mail (import duties to be covered by the winner) when you shop at Nihon Ichiban
Japanese food is often presented on top of bamboo leaves. They are often used in restaurants, but now you can do the same at home!
Rice balls used to be wrapped with a bamboo bark in old days when there was no “bento box”. Bamboo barks have anti bacterial effect and they are breathable. Soak the bamboo barks in water before use. Enjoy the rice balls in style! 😉

I Love the cold noodle dishes in the summer heat. Actually, I just love noodle dishes. Watching the preparation techniques is fascinating and I have learned so much!
Can’t wait to try this recipe!
Thank you!
Any one of these products would great to experience in my trial and error of cooking Japanese food for my husband.
I don’t know what I need I am new to Japanese items! But I love all the crazy dried fruits that are so hard to get here unless you go to aji chiban in NY
I’d love them to have a Chicken Nanban sauce set. I fell in love with Chicken Nanban (surprisingly enough at Joyful and Hokkahokkatei) while in Fukuoka many years ago.
I’d love to try their umeboshi sampler with 4 types of umeboshi, so I can make more onigiri varients, other than fish so far xD I’d shop amok if I had free shipping haha :d
