Hi, I’m from Singapore.
I usually buy Japanese ingredients from Isetan’s supermarket at Shaw Centre . It has a good range of items (even has fresh vegetables like shiso leaves) and is more centralized compared to Meidi-ya. For more common ingredients like sauces and dried udon or soba, I buy them at Cold Storage, a local supermarket.
I usually buy it from Coles or Woolworth in Adelaide, Australia.
They dont sell a lot of products though.
I usually shot at the following stores and locations.
Mitsuwa in San Jose off Saratoga Ave. CA

Nijiya in Mt. View, CA

I shop at Thai Binh in Wichita, Kansas, USA.
They carry a huge selection of Oriental and Hispanic products, as well as frozen and fresh seafood.

I shop at Cao Nguyen in Oklahoma City, OK, USA; OK Oriental Foods in Oklahoma City, OK, USA; H Mart in Carrolton, TX, USA.

Hi Nami,
Thanks for providing another giveaway! The first store I go to for Japanese ingredients is the closest to my home: Pacific Super (SSF, CA); if I can’t find what I’m looking for, I’ll head to 99 Ranch (Daly City, CA), then I’ll go to Suruki Supermarket or Nijiya Market in San Mateo.
I’ve been looking for Shiratamako, with no luck at the ones near my house. I’m going to Suruki soon; hopefully, they’ll have it!
Ayame Japanese & Gourmet Market, Lexington Kentucky USA.
