Win A Bundle of Fresh Seafood from E-Fish Today!
The bundle includes:
Ikejime Black Cod (2lbs):
Black Cod is a highly desirable and incredibly versatile fish found on the west coast from California to Alaska. While most black cod found online is farm-raised, E-Fish works only with wild sources of black cod. This dense white meat fish has an extremely high oil content and is known for its rich and buttery flavor. Black Cod can be baked, poached, broiled, grilled, or pan-fried. Whole fish and large fillets can also be roasted with the skin on. Its high oil and Omega-3 fatty acids content enable it to stay moist even when barbecuing or smoking.

CA Spiny Lobster (2 Whole):
Live California Spiny Lobster harvested in traps by experienced licensed fishermen. This species of lobster does not have claws, like their East Coast counterpart. California Spiny Lobsters have a significantly larger yield of meat in their tails than Maine lobsters. The fishery is regulated by the length of lobster, gear types, and permitting. This harvest method produces minimal bycatch and habitat impacts, making the California Spiny lobster a “Best Choice” by Marine Stewardship Council.

Ikejime Rockfish (1 Whole – cleaned):
Rockfish are a white flaky fish found from California up to Alaska. Great for tacos, ceviche, or simply pan-seared. IkeJime refers to the way the fish was killed. This is a process that takes more time, but is widely considered to be the most ethical way to kill a fish, and also leads to a higher quality product.

About E-Fish
E-Fish ships seafood right from the water to your doorstep within 48 hours of being caught, specializing in US-caught and processed, fresh (never frozen), finfish, and shellfish. They were recently named one of 15 MIT Startups to watch and are on a mission to improve harvester livelihood by connecting local communities to incredibly fresh seafood.
E-Fish is one of only a few suppliers to truly send seafood from Dock-To-Door. Their Harvesters are small business owners willing to harvest seafood according to demand, so that it’s caught, typically, just two days before it’s at the customer’s doorsteps.

oh that looks good. I’ve been trying to eat more seafood and fish, and slowly have been signing up for newsletters from suppliers. Here in Pennsylvania it’s hard to get decent stuff.
